I was born in 1986 and the moment after I come to the world I began to use the nappies my parents prepared for a long time before my birth. There is an old saying in rural counties that if the baby use the nappies made by neighbors’ old clothes, he will be healthy and easily fed later. I had my first red iron three wheeled children bike when I was five or six years old. It was my favorite toy and one of several ones in my memory. Later on the bike belonged to my brother and also it was destroyed by his hands.
Right now child kits and toys are much more advanced made and much more expensive. They are electronically, emulational, colorful, updated year by year and more science technology applied. Toys are piled up like a little hill in the house. Parents will not deny buying it as long as children enjoy it.
How much have you pay for your baby kits compared with that your parents paid for you in the old years?
I have a colleague who has a 4 years old daughter. I saw her daughter’s room from her camera by chance. It is just like a kindergarten, a tiny Disney, full of many kinds of toys, a new buggy, a self made swing and a sliding board. I believe that your baby’s room is more colorful.
